Remember when netizens all over the world went beserk over Topshop’s plastic ‘jeans’? Well, brace yourselves for another (possibly worse) idea!

Now, luxury fashion brand Y/Project has just released their latest design, which is a pair of denim jeans that can be converted to booty shorts.

The idea doesn’t sound that bad in theory, but check out how the jeans actually look like!

Okay, there’s no way those jeans are even remotely comfortable!

Well, we understand the jeans are meant to be convenient but is it really necessary for them to have an awkward gap/cut-out in between the shorts and the rest of the jeans? Imagine the weird tan lines you’ll get.

Plus, it certainly doesn’t seem suitable for everyday wear, that’s for sure!

The jeans have button fastenings inside that keep the ‘pants’ part connected to the shorts. If you want to wear them as booty shorts, all you need to do is simply unfasten the buttons and you’re good to go.

And, like any ridiculous piece of clothing, they come with an equally ridiculous price tag.

Excuse us, we need to lie down for a while!

Especially in Malaysian weather, we think this concept is actually pretty convenient, given our crazy-hot climate while also being exposed terribly-cold air conditioned rooms.

Just one more question tho, where will you put the pant legs anyway once you’ve removed it? Can’t exactly wear it as sleeves can you!

Let’s hope some other designer comes up with a better version of these pants, because we think this design has some potential!
