Donning a Doraemon themed Baju Melayu may either make you or break you!
Abann Dass went over the top as he posed in a light Baju Melayu, clad with the character from the popular Japanese animation series for his wedding!
The outfit, which featured characters like Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Suneo and Goda (Giant), broke the internet as several local viral Facebook pages began to pick up the story, garnering equal amounts of likes and dislikes.

Abann or Mohd Firdaus Mohd Ali who manages a local cosmetic line in Kota Bharu, said that he was a huge fan of the Japanese animation.
According to The Star, the Baju Melayu was meant to be worn during the pre-wedding photography session, but changed his mind five days before the wedding and wore it on his ‘pelamin’ instead.

“She initially did not want me to wear it, as she was embarrassed about what others would say.”
“But I convinced her, by saying ‘kalau you sayangkan I, pakai kejap pun tak apa’ (if you love me, you wouldn’t mind even if I wore this for a while.”

He added that his bride, Ana, too had the same attire but he didn’t upload her pictures, as requested by the bride.
“I understand what she is going through. For now, it is just me wearing this Doraemon themed attire.”
“Once she is ready, I will upload it,” he said. How considerate!
Despite many going gaga for the outfit, some were unimpressed.
