A video circulating on social media has left Malaysians in awe of the stunning natural beauty of the mountainous region of the Negeri di Bawah Bayu, Sabah.
Recorded and shared by Facebook user Justin Liew on the platform, the video has since been reposted by other public social media pages, evoking wonderment in those who witnessed it.
A glowing rainbow over Gunung Kinabalu
In the video recorded from a viewpoint in Ranau, Justin showed off the surrounding area before slowly panning to reveal the tallest mountain in Malaysia, Gunung Kinabalu, with a mesmerizing rainbow arch around it.
Everyone at the viewpoint was busy getting photos and videos taken of the jaw-dropping natural phenomenon.
The rainbow appears to be glowing, whereby a bright orange light seems to be illuminating the sky under the rainbow arch, which is brighter than the sky outside of the arch.
Moreover, the direct sunlight hitting the very visible peak of Gunung Kinabalu further elevates the scene, making it seem otherwordly!
The video was recorded from Pekan Nabalu in Ranau
In the comments, Justin revealed that the video was taken at around 3pm on 4 July.
He added that the viewpoint is located at Pekan Nabalu in Ranau.
