To celebrate its launch, Vuse released an epic music video on 28 December 2023 featuring a clutter-breaking collab of our local talents! Here’s everything we know about Vuse Street Covers:

First off, why is Vuse collaborating with aspiring Malaysian talents?

Vuse Street Covers 2

Aside from championing creativity, the Vuse Street Covers platform was launched to give aspiring Malaysian talents a platform to share their stories, showcase their talents, and demonstrate how vibrant Malaysia’s artistic landscape truly is.

Through this initiative, the brand has brilliantly illuminated underground music and art scenes as well as unearthed hidden talents from all over the world, and most recently, in Malaysia!

Meet Zamaera & Lowkey, the Vuse Street Cover Creative Champions from Malaysia!

To celebrate the grand arrival of Vuse Street Covers in Malaysia, Vuse partnered with two exceptional local talents, Zamaera and Lowkey, to craft the mesmerising music video you just watched above.

Written by Zamaera, the song unveils the artists’ quest for inspiration amidst the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur. Before you check out their music video, get ready to dive into the world of these flourishing talents!

This 28-year-old artiste rose to fame in 2017 with her first single, “Helly Kelly,”  which has garnered over 300,000 plays on Spotify. Notably, she was handpicked by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC) to represent Malaysia at the prestigious ASEAN-Korean Music Festival Round 2020, solidifying her status as a rising star!

But Zamaera’s influence extends far beyond her musical prowess. She passionately champions women’s empowerment and actively nurtures a brighter landscape for local female creatives. In pursuit of this bold vision, she recently organised Queendom Fest, Malaysia’s first all-female music festival, at the vibrant LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre!

  • Lowkey: a talented graffiti artist

Traverse Langkawi Island, Penang Island, Kuala Lumpur, and numerous other cities across Malaysia, and you’ll encounter his mesmerising artwork!

Lowkey views his work as a profound cultural expression deeply intertwined with the essence of hip-hop, music, and street culture. Beyond his stunning visuals, this gifted artist also imparts his knowledge through workshops, nurturing creativity and appreciation for street art among the younger generations!
