McDonald’s French fries are irresistible, especially when they’re fresh out of the fryer. Yummy!
Their delicious fries is why many of us who have ‘tapao‘-ed McD’s before will always end up reaching into the bag before we can even get to our cars. Doing so will inevitably get our entire hand greasy. Not to mention, there’s no place for chilli sauce.
However, one netizen recently came up with a life hack that allows you to eat fries out of the bag without getting the grease and salt on the back of your hands, and it actually works!
According to the genius netizen from Taiwan, all you need is a McDonald’s paper bag. First, you should empty all the fries into the paper bag and discard the cardboard container the fries came in.
That way, you’ll have ample space to pick up the fries without dirtying the back of your hands! Also, it makes sharing fries with your friends much easier, that is if you’re generous with your food, lah.
The netizen also revealed how to transform the paper bag into a sharing bowl with designated compartments for condiments, in just three easy-peasy steps!
- Fold the paper bag outward in half
- Fold it in half again
- Fold the outer layer upward in half
We tried it out ourselves and the modified paper bag can really hold up to two types of condiments at the sides! Chilli or tomato sauce? Why not both?
If you’re worried that the paper bag might get soggy and fall apart after soaking up too much oil from the fries, you can always place a paper towel at the bottom of the bag. Chances are you won’t come to this situation as the fries will usually be gone within minutes!
So guys, try this life hack out the next time you tapao from McDonald’s and your friends will be thanking you!
Whoever came up with this is the real MVP, if we’re honest!
