Wine enthusiasts and alcohol connoisseurs, we’ve got the perfect event for your Saturday evening! 

Margeret River on Tour is debuting in Malaysia and they have made it their goal to bring the finest Australian wines to Malaysia. You will get to sip on their wines whilst you experience the culture of the Margaret River region in Perth, Australia.

Several wineries & vineyards from the small town will be there for the event, and they will present Malaysia with their wines. Some of the wineries & vineyards that will be attending are as mentioned below:

  • Churchview Estate Margaret River 
  • Flametree Wines 
  • Howard Park Wines 
  • Pierro Margaret River Vineyards 
  • Vasse Felix 
  • Voyager Estate

Besides the sumptuous wines that will be available, the Kuala Lumpur stop will also feature special guests from Australia. These talented people, who are experts in their respective fields, are listed below:

  • Josh “Koomal” Whiteland from Koomal Dreaming 
  • Chef Evan Hayter of Arimia Winery Restaurant 
  • Internationally acclaimed and award-winning photographer, Russell Ord

During the event, Whiteland, who is a Wadandi (an indigenous group in Australia) will showcase “a musical introduction of the world’s oldest living culture”.

Additionally, Ord will display his photography in an exhibition at the event, while Chef Hayter will take the lead for a wine pairing dinner. Sounds fancy!

On top of that, VIP guests who want to learn more about wines can attend a Masterclass which be hosted by a panel of winemakers. You will learn from the best! 

In the class, attendees will be enlightened about the quality and uniqueness of Chardonnay wines from Margaret River. Wow! 

To make sure that the participants have a wholesome experience, they can learn more about Margaret River itself at the Travel Trade Experience and the concierge desk. Nice!

So, are you excited to attend Margaret River On Tour?

If yes, then you should know that tickets are priced at RM120 per person and it’s available for purchase via Thirst E-shop. Do keep in mind that the ticket is inclusive of “tastings of all exhibited wines, canapes and entertainment”.

  • Time: 4pm – 8pm
