Call it old-fashioned, but there is never a place or a time for anyone to pull a prank, especially if it can cause injuries. Unfortunately, a local child actress is suffering the consequences of a prank that was pulled on her.

During the shooting for the local drama Jaga Aku Selamanya in Selangor late last month, the child actress, Puteri Rafasya fell on the ground when another child decided to pull the chair away when she was trying to sit down. Little did the child know, his action sealed Rafasya’s fate.

The fall broke her hip bone after her back was slammed on a tripod’s metal leg, and after almost a month, she is still unable to walk, and Rafasya has to rely on the wheelchair to move around, as well as wearing diapers. She is only 12 years old.

As if limited movement is not bad enough, Rafasya is forced to suffer effects that are far worse.

Rafasya slowly recovered in terms of health and appetite by the 6th day, but 9 days after the incident, Rafasya had to be admitted to the hospital at the Yellow Zone for high-risk cases. She was discharged but on March 10, the innocent little soul was once again admitted into Hospital Tunku Azizah.

Rafasya urinated unconsciously and her feet were numb. Her nervous system has ruptured, numbing her limbs which caused her unable to walk or sit normally.

Her mother constantly keeps the followers updated via Rafasya’s official Instagram account, and according to one of the posts, the doctor said that it will take some time for the child star to walk again.

It’s not only about her limited movements but Rafasya is in pain as well. She has to be admitted to the pediatric ward until she recovers.

According to a report by Harian Metro, Fatin Aliza, Rafasya’s mother said that as of now, the child nor his parents have yet to approach Rafasya’s family to apologise. It was also revealed that the child who pulled the prank on Rafasya was not supposed to be at the filming scene.

There are many more ways to have fun but pulling a prank is never funny. No one, but only Rafasya and her mother understands the pain that she has to go through.
