A careless mistake led to a woman losing her wallet, which contained important documents and cash.
In a viral TikTok video by @husnaiberahimm, the woman said she had just left her car to head to a convenience store but left her wallet on the seat and forgot to lock the door. Consequently, in less than 5 minutes, she returned to the car and noticed that her wallet had disappeared into thin air.
Everything happened in under five minutes
Little did she know, a motorcyclist approached her Perodua Myvi, almost immediately after she left, and tried to open the door of the back passenger seat. It was locked, so he tried opening the other door.
This time, the driver’s seat door was unlocked, so the rider quickly popped inside and took the woman’s wallet and sped off. The entire process was caught on CCTV.
According to Husna, she wasn’t just upset about losing important documents such as her IC, but also her newly bought mascara. In the comment sections, Husna also said she only had RM20 in her wallet during the theft.
“If you wanted to steal, you might as well steal from a Honda driver, not a Myvi driver like me,” Husna joked in her video and acknowledged that it was her fault for not locking the car door before leaving to someplace else.
Lesson learned
Husna also admitted that the incident, which took place in the Kajang Impian area, was a wake-up call for her, and since then, she has always made sure to lock her car. She also avoids placing valuable items on the table when dining out.
“I always lock my car when I step out but on that day, I don’t know why it slipped my mind,” Husna remarked.
In another TikTok video today (May 23), Husna also shared that she was not the only victim of the rider. Witnesses in Kajang and Bangi areas said they spotted the same rider roaming the streets looking for potential victims.

Regardless of where you are, remember to keep your vehicle locked. It’s best to keep the car locked even if you are in the passenger seat, waiting for the driver to return.
