What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of your childhood? For many of us, it’s theme parks! They’re a wonderful place to enjoy your free time with friends and family, especially during the holidays.

As wonderful as it can be, malfunctions can occur unexpectedly, anywhere, anytime. In a recent video shared by @neja_eja, she provides viewers with a firsthand glimpse of an incident that unfolded at a theme park in Kuala Lumpur.

The roller coaster malfunctioned, causing it to stop halfway

In the video, one of the rides at the theme park can be seen stopping midway, indicating a malfunction with some passengers still seated on the ride.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Neja revealed that the incident occurred on June 16th around 6:22pm, coincidentally finding herself in the right place at the right time.

“I was actually shocked, especially considering I had ridden on the ride just a few months before that.”

The passengers had to walk on the tracks

Neja recounted how she was passing by near the ride when she noticed it had already stopped halfway, with passengers beginning to make their way down the tracks on foot.

“I didn’t stay to find out what happened because I was in a hurry to get home. I’m not sure how many were there and how long they were stuck before they were instructed to walk down the roller coaster tracks.”

She also mentioned feeling uneasy witnessing the passengers walking on the tracks, concerned that someone could slip and fall.

“If it were me, I’d rather stay stuck up there. The height is so high that I’d prefer to wait for the firefighters to come and rescue me.”
