The “Prettiest & Most Handsome” Candidates Abe Lim & Ang Wei Yang Lost RM5K Deposit

MUDA candidate Abe Lim and independent candidate Ang Wei Yang were regarded as the most good-looking candidate in the state elections. However, both of them have lost their deposit.

First reported by Sin Chew Daily, both the Bandar Utama and Banting candidates have lost their RM5,000 deposits.

According to the election results, Abe Lim got a total of 2,496 votes, Perikatan Nasional(PN) candidate Aliff Taufid received 4,399 votes, while Pakatan Harapan(PH) candidate Jamaliah Binti Jamaluddin won by receiving 39,845 votes.

Pakatan Harapan’s Papparaidu Veraman also won in Banting by receiving 27,223 votes, while PN candidate Saravanan A/L Mutto Krishnan got 5,121 votes. Ang Wei Yang, who’s an independent candidate, garnered a total of 1,439 votes.

Even though both of them have lost the elections, some netizens are still impressed by their efforts and bravery, and encourage them to keep trying for the next election.
