Taking to Facebook, Prem Kumar Panjamorthy shared his experience witnessing the couple and their cute ways while on their recently concluded trip to Japan.

Prem was interviewing Dr M when they had a short break time in between. Suddenly someone notified them that Siti Hasmah wanted to join in the interview suddenly, which shocked Dr M!
As Tun Siti Hasmah entered the room, she apologised to Prem and his team for the interruption and sat closely to Tun Mahathir.

“She whispered something to her husband, but he couldn’t hear.”
“So she giggled and said ‘I’m going to get some rest in the room (they were staying at the same Imperial Hotel). You have not taken any rest since morning. So please take some rest after this.’”

Tun Mahathir, quietly, with full of love in his eyes, merely watched his wife walk out of the room, giggling like a young lover boy.

Prem added that every in the room was shocked to see that after 63 years of marriage, the fire still burns in the furnace!

“I cannot believe it. This is a 63-year-old marriage and a 71-year-old friendship since they were university mates! This couple should be an example for all married couples in the world.”
“Our parents could be a fine example of how we would like to shape our future, but Dr Mahathir-Dr Siti Hasmah’s life is an encyclopedia of relationship.”
