A heartbroken mother had no choice but to accept the death of her infant after carrying the child for nine months, only to lose the baby during childbirth.
The ordeal began when the mother suddenly experienced contractions. Her husband immediately tried to get emergency help by calling 999, but the first call did not go through. Meanwhile, the mother rushed to the bathroom, feeling her baby’s body partially out in a breech position.

“In increasing pain, the wife walked to the bathroom because she felt like she was about to give birth.”
In a viral Instagram post shared by Wan Cai, founder of the Special Funeral Van Unit (UKVJ), he said the husband did not give up and continued trying to contact the emergency line. He managed to speak to someone during his second attempt.
Unfortunately, the call lasted only a few seconds before it disconnected
“There, he found his wife lying down, and their baby had come out from the feet to the neck level in a breech position.”
The husband held the baby’s body, which was still stuck in the uterus, but he didn’t dare to pull it out, even though his wife urged him. In pain and weakness, the mother continued pushing until the baby’s head was fully delivered.

Soon after, the father managed to call the emergency line again. The operator guided him to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the baby, but to no avail.
The baby did not survive, even though the 999 call was eventually successful
Medical officers who arrived shortly after confirmed the baby’s death. The mother and baby were then taken to UiTM Puncak Alam Hospital for further action, including a post-mortem. Wan Cai added that the infant’s body was later brought to the Jannatul Firdaus Wakaf Room for funeral arrangements.
“The father was seen shedding tears many times, mourning the loss of his long-awaited son. The mother cried and told the deceased infant to forgive her.”

The infant, Muhammad Amir Faris, was laid to rest at the Klang Islamic Cemetery yesterday afternoon (20 November).
