Gen Zs are often associated with being the snowflake generation because some of them are believed to be unable to take criticism, or just not committed enough to their jobs. This stereotype has unfortunately hurt the reputations of many Gen Zs out there because they’re not all the same.
Just recently, the Facebook page Sri Petaling shared the experience of a customer who visited a Chinese restaurant in Sri Petaling. What caught the customer’s attention was one of the vendors who runs her own mini bakery inside the restaurant. The owner is a Gen Z who revealed that the newly-opened bakery is her 1st job, in which she bakes pastries every morning.
“After I have graduated, I couldn’t find a proper job, so I tried the bakery industry, which was initially against what my parents and friends advised.”
When asked why she has chosen this particular bakery chain, she said the chain offered an affordable startup package to those who wish to kickstart a business, and most importantly, it was within her budget.
“If you select a good location, when business is good, you can make more than those who work in the office,” she said.
The girl admitted that as time passed, she started to believe that she made the right choice of getting herself involved in the bakery business. Her business is booming, and she’s even considering opening another outlet in another area.
“Sometimes, my friends visit me here and have a chat with me.”
“If I don’t see her, I’m calling the cops”
The post didn’t take long to go viral and many Malaysian netizens have shown interest to give her business support, but probably not in the way you expected. Some of them hilariously reacted to her sexy outfit.
“I’m going to this place tomorrow. If I don’t see her, I’m calling the cops.”
“A little bit of Thailand vibes.”
“Thankfully she’s not in Kelantan.”
“Is she selling bread or looks?”
“Can’t you just run your bakery without resorting to such a way? Anyway, I’m just asking, can anyone DM me the location?”
“The Chinese restaurant will see an increase in customers, and business will boom.”
To those of you who have visited the area, have you tried the pastry?
