Malaysia boleh!
Guys, there’s nothing more Malaysian than coming together to support our local sports teams. It’s honestly the true test of being a Malaysian; that even despite the differences we may have, we’re still able to unite and cheer for one another—and this game is no exception!
What’s more, you don’t have to be interested in Basketball to have fun. It’s a great activity you can enjoy with your friends!
Why you WANT to be there:
- The crazy excitement cheering in the stadium for our local team
- Screaming and yelling with your group of friends when our local team scored points
- Free flow of food & beverage (alcohol included) when you purchase Courtside tickets
- You’re guaranteed to always go back for more games after watching your first match!
- It’s a battle against Singapore, duh!
In a fight to be crowned the champion of the Straits Cup, our beloved KL Dragons will be going head to head with the Singapore Slingers this 16th Feb right here on home ground!

If you’re thinking, “but I don’t really watch basketball”, then this is definitely the game for you, because it will get you hooked!
Seeing the crowd go wild as our Dragons score left and right is the only amp you need. And let’s be real, wouldn’t it be great to just beat Singapore so we have another thing to add to our list of things we do better than them?
And with the game being held right here in the heart of KL, you actually have a chance to catch them live in action.

This game is actually in its 5th season.
So far, the Dragons have won the first series, while the Slingers have won the past 3 series—so you know our Dragons are gonna be out there breathing fire with this year’s heated match, to try to win back the coveted title—which is why you can’t miss it!
The game will be held right in our backyard, at MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur this Sunday 16th November at 2:30pm, where you’ll see our Dragons battling it off against our Singaporean rivals.
Plus, you can cuci mata a bit with the handsome players and the pretty team’s dancers.
