Tesla Malaysia Reveals Upgraded Version of Model 3, Codenamed “Highland” & Prices Go Up to RM218K

Car enthusiasts, or anyone who has the budget and is eyeing for a Tesla vehicle, this might be what you’re looking for.

Tesla Malaysia recently announced a refreshed and upgraded version of the Model 3 electric vehicle, codenamed “Highland”. According to the official website of Tesla Malaysia, the model can reach an exceptional drive range. With only a single charge, the standard version can travel up to 513 K. The long range version can travel even further with 1 charge – a whopping 629 KM, according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP).

For both versions, the car comes in standard white colour. However, different options are available BUT with additional charges, depending on your choices of colour.

  • Solid Black (RM5,000)
  • Deep Blue Metallic (RM5,000)
  • Stealth Grey (RM7,500)
  • Ultra Red (RM11,000)

If you’re looking to enhance the colour of your Tesla Model 3, you’ll have to fork out some extra cash for that. The website also announced that customers can expect the earliest delivery of the Model 3 late this year.

And of course, the pricing of the car, EXCLUDING the colour of your choices. For the standard version, it costs RM189,000 and the long range version costs RM218,000. If you have a specific colour on your mind, time to calculate your budget, potential buyers!

Model 3 also comes with a standard 18 inch wheel, but be ready to pay an additional RM7,500 for 19 inch Nova Wheels.

What to expect in the upgraded Model 3 EV?

The refreshed Model 3 EV is refined with more range, an all-new premium interior and a noticeably quieter ride. Smooth like the wind.

Drivers can also expect to navigate and charge the car with ease. When you walk up, your Tesla will automatically unlock the driver door, adjust to your preferred driving settings and sync your music. Just get in and go. It’s like your Tesla “adapts” to you!

Last but not least, safety always comes first, and the team behind Tesla has designed a feature that meets a global 5-star safety requirements.

“Our vehicles are engineered to be the safest on the road. Active safety features like Automatic Emergency Braking come standard at no extra cost.”
