Teh tarik is our nation’s favourite drink, there’s no doubt about it. You can have it ice cold or bubbly hot with creamy foam on top. Or even better, you can have it in the form of ice cream!

Das right guys!

Most of us would have tried King’s signature traditional Potong ice cream. The flavours that we’re all familiar with are red bean, pulut hitam, durian and yam.

However, only a few know of the existence of teh tarik Potong ice cream, which was why many netizens were stunned when these pictures went viral on Facebook.

Apparently this dreamy flavour isn’t exactly new and has been around for some time, but somehow it was just never made known to every teh tarik lover. How can we miss this?

According to the official website, the iconic teh tarik ice cream is made with F&N’s original recipe, which gives you an authentic rich taste of teh tarik, just like the one you get at a good ol’ mamak stall!

This ice cream has been right under our nose this whole time, how could we be so clueless?! To make sure we don’t miss out on any other special flavours, we browsed through the Potong ice cream collection, and guess what we found?

This limited gold edition of Potong ice cream is made of 100 per cent Musang King puree from Malaysia and it’s free from any artificial flavouring! Shut up and take my money!

Every stick of this icy goodness is packed with bittersweet flavour in each bite plus a seductive aroma that will tease our senses. To make it even more savoury and rich, coconut milk is added to the puree to satisfy the taste buds of every durian aficionado!

If you’re already salivating, you should know that a box of Teh Tarik Potong ice cream only costs RM7.70 at Tesco while the more premium Musang King Potong ice cream costs RM21.90 at Jaya Grocer.

This certainly gives durian connoisseurs new hope after McDonald’s D24 Durian McFlurry was sold out all over Malaysia. I don’t know about you guys, but my dessert tonight is sorted!
