According to the victim, the gang members were armed with knifes and sharp tools. As soon as he rejected their request, he was held by the gang members, and then beaten by several other armed gangsters with wooden sticks, umbrellas, helmets and fire extinguisher.

As quoted by the victim:

”They also burnt my face with lit cigarette butts, poked my throat with the umbrella’s edge and also shoved my face down a bucket of water.”

The torture doesn’t end here, according to the battered student, immediately after the beating he was forced to film an apology video to the gang leader. The gangsters then threatened to kill him if he report them to the police.

He was eventually saved by another classmate who got him home safe. The victim then lodged a report and was hospitalized.

The victim lastly said that the gangsters aren’t afraid of getting locked up, they could be imprisoned for multiple days and after they are released, the victim would suffer their wrath.

It’s daunting how gangsters are terrorizing the country, especially during a Datuk’s death which shook the nation a few months ago.
