Desperate times call for desperate measures. However, regardless of how tough the situation is, it does not warrant the right to cheat others and take away something that belongs to them.
What we don’t understand is how some people have the audacity to not pay for something they can actually afford to. A nail parlour at a mall in Johor Bahru recently shared an incident where a customer got away without paying for her pedicure service, which was only RM88. The owner of the nail parlour, Candice said the customer, Racheal, who is from Singapore claimed she did not have enough cash to pay her on the spot.
As Candice trusted her like a friend, she told Racheal that she accepts online transfers whenever she’s ready. Unfortunately, the trust was clearly betrayed. Candice has been waiting for Racheal to pay RM88 since April the 3rd and at the time of the posting, she has received nothing.
“I repeat, it’s just RM88, and she wants to get away with our pretty work?”
Candice also said that her team has tried to contact Racheal with 4 different numbers of hers that they have but the outcome remains the same – Racheal beats around the bush to avoid talking about the debt because she is not paying.
In one of the responses, Racheal even said, “Candice nuts fit in your mouth lmao.”
That’s rude.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Candice said that she was disappointed with the messages that she received from Racheal.
“Pretty face but her heart is just ugly.”
In another screenshot of a conversation that Candice shared with WORLD OF BUZZ, Racheal simply responded with an irrelevant sticker when asked about the debt. Candice also told WORLD OF BUZZ that she suspected the numbers may have been fake.
“But then again, if those were fake numbers, why didn’t the people on the other end tell me that I got the wrong number?”

Regardless, we hope that such an incident will not happen to any other business operators out there. Times are tough and each transaction mean a lot to the businesses.
