When we were younger, we had our own individual desires to join all kinds of odd academics such as Ninja School or Spy School.
Well, soon, Malaysian youngsters might actually be able to join ‘Space School’!
According to a report by Nanyang Siang Pau, it appears that the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will be collaborating with Chung Hua High School in Seremban to launch an out-of-this-world programme for space knowledge.
This will allow selected Form 1 to Form 3 students to participate in a course about space. More excitingly, this will also give them the opportunity to chat with NASA astronauts and learn about their astronomical experiences.
Taking to their Facebook page, Chung Hua High School announced the agreement with NASA during their opening ceremony named ‘Bright Departure’, to welcome their new Form 1 students.
They wrote, “Chung Hua will be cooperating with the NASA Teaching Center in the United States to hold a workshop in April. The school will select students from Form 1 to Form 3 of the high school to participate. We hope that the Form 1 students will actively sign up to participate.”
“Let us set off the new school year brightly with a positive attitude while meeting more challenges and creating a better future.”
We’re not going to lie, we’re kind of jealous and can only wish our schools had such programmes when we were younger!
