Someone Compared Our Defence Minister’s Batiks to M’sian Desserts & We Can’t Unsee it Now

During these dire times, a handful of our ministers have been working hard to ensure that the rakyat is well-informed about the current situation on top of figuring out what is best for us. One of those ministers happen to be Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and so far his official press statements have helped guide the Malaysians to deal with the pandemic.

However, other than the strict regulations he reveals in every statement, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri has also gotten a lot of attention because of his batik design choices. We are not complaining as we feel that it is good to wear something colourful to brighten up someone’s day in the midst of hardship.

With that said, knowing Malaysians who are generally creative and love food, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri’s colourful fashion sense has been compared to, you know it – desserts. So without further ado, here are some of our favourite ones:
