As announced by Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin earlier today (9 March), patients who are recovering from the Covid-19 virus will be prescribed PAXLOVID, an antiviral pill.
However, not everyone may be on board with him. Some are even going to the extent and creating a story about MoH’s “masterplan”. Recently, a doctor shared a screenshot of a forwarded message on WhatsApp where some people are urging others to NOT take the PAXLOVID pill.
“It’s not to treat Covid but to take control of patients. This electronic pill has a chip in it and once swallowed, it will sent a signal to the Ministry of Health,” the message claimed.
It is also said that once you have taken the pill, your body and mind will be controlled forever by following every instruction of MoH.
“Without realising it, you will listen to MoH who worships the devil & you will eventually leave your religion.”
In his next tweet, Dr Khairul rhetorically asked if the people who spread the fake messages really think they are THAT important for MoH to take control to the extent where a special chip is designed?
“Where do we get the money to pay the the workers to handle those controlled individuals?” Dr Khairul jokingly asked.
Chip? Do you mean Chipsmore?
His tweet has since gone viral and gained the attention of the netizens where most of them joked about the “chips in the pills.”
“A chip is expensive. Might as well just plant it in the head of the smart ones. At least there is something to analyze.”
“We’ve consumed kilos of chips since we were young. I mean Chipsmore cookies.”
“They would rather consume medications for a horse, but not something recommended. Crazy.”
The stories that some people can come up with are sometimes interesting and we wonder what’s to come. Have you received this WhatsApp message?
