The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has since said that it is tracing the boy and the car from which he fell.

As reported by Harian Metro, Kota Bharu Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Suhaimi Ali said that the incident was believed to have been caused by the grey car driver’s failure to ensure that the rear passenger door was locked and that the boy had his seatbelt on.
