Children are always curious little creatures, which is why it’s ridiculously important that they have supervision.
Four kids in Guizhou, China were seen casually playing on a rooftop of a building. It wouldn’t have been so much of a problem if the rooftop was flat and had high railings, but this rooftop was neither flat or had railings.
The video, which was posted on a Chinese social media site, showcased the children, aged around 10-years-old, had apparently entered the rooftop through the building’s emergency exit.
Two of the kids can be seen trying to slide down to the edge of the roof while the other two hung onto the building’s lightning rods to balance themselves. It is reported that they were up there for a good 20 minutes without any supervision.
The building is said to be 32 storeys high, officials did not specify the building’s height but estimated it to be nearly 100 metres (328 feet).
Thankfully, the children were unharmed as one wrong move could have sent them falling. Their parents have since received reprimands from the authorities who were called in.
