Oh, how we wish we were still SPM candidates after reading this!
Imagine being rewarded with free food to study hard for a major exam, ’cause that’s what some privileged students from this school are lucky enough to have!
Seriously, who can say no to free food?
According to the Malay Mail, SMK Aminuddin Baki is providing free meals from Subway and Kenny Rogers to 190 of its Form Five students who are currently sitting for the SPM examinations.
The school reportedly allocated RM20,000 for the students’ breakfast and lunch menu, which was funded by its Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru (PIBG) group.
The sum was used to cater over 30 menu plans, which comprise Rotisserie-roasted chicken meals and healthy sandwiches from the aforementioned eateries for lunch. Meanwhile, its breakfast menu include macaroni, cheese tarts, bihun goreng and milo.
After all, the secondary school just wants their students to stay focused during this important period by providing them with nutritious and balanced meals.
The school’s PIBG chairman, Wan Zaidi Wan Jaafar said, “Our goal is for the kids to stay focused on top of motivating them and lifting their spirits while answering the SPM questions.”
Moreover, by having these delicious and healthier meals prepared for the SPM takers, it’ll help avoid any unwanted problems such as food poisoning especially during such a crucial time, said one of the students’ parent.
Now, if only all schools did this, we wonder if the country’s overall SPM grades will improve?
