“Sayang.. Sayang Terima Kasih” Senior Citizen Thanks Policeman in PJ Who Helped Her Pay Utility Bills

It is widely known by now that our front-liners will go the extra mile when it comes to helping the country to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Other than their assigned duties, some will take on other responsibilities without expecting anything in return.

To some, our abang polis might be garang but they are kind-hearted. This is proven by the latest act-of-kindness by one of our officers from IPD Petaling Jaya. As reported by Malay Mail, Corporal Muhammad Azizi Matshah, was at Pasar Besar Jalan Othman to inspect the EMCO there with District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal when he was approached by an elderly aunty who requested for some help to pay her bills.

Without hesitation and with permission from his superior, Azizi immediately went to the nearby post office to pay the elderly aunty’s bills. From the post on the Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya Facebook page, the elderly aunty thanked Azizi by saying, “Dear, thank you so much, dear.”

Things can be stressful especially when dealing with the movement restrictions but at the end of the day, an act of kindness is like a shimmer of light that gives up hope to carry on.
