Sarawak’s 12th State Elections To Be Held On 18 December

The date for Sarawak’s 12th State Elections (PRN-12) has been set for 18 December.

Based on a report by Berita Harian, nominations will be held on 6 December and early voting will be held on 14 December.

Election Commission (SPR) Chairman, Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh announced the dates of the PRN-12 following a special meeting in Kuching earlier today.

Based on a statement by SPR, the election is being held in an effort to fill the vacancy of 82 State Assembly (DUN) seats after the dissolution of the 11th Sarawak DUN on 3 November 2021.
