Taking to his Facebook page, Fadli shared how the school has been applying for a covered roof over its assembly ground for its students.

School installs its own netting to shield students from the hot sun

Fadli said that years have passed since the school submitted its request to the Ministry of Education (MOE), but there has still been no progress or update.

“A school has long been applying for a covered roof over its assembly ground for students. Days passed. Months passed. Years passed. There has been no progress or update on the application,” the post read.

Despite the lack of updates, the school administrators and teachers took it upon themselves and decided to install a black net-like shade over the assembly ground in hopes of protecting students from the heat.

Calls for the relevant authorities to take action

Fadli further shared his hope that MOE will one day bring good news to the school and offer a lasting solution.

“The school administrators and teachers couldn’t bear to see their students standing under the hot sun during assemblies, parades, and outdoor activities, so they installed a black net-like shade instead to help protect them from the heat.

“Hopefully, this year, there will be good news from MOE for this school. May the dream of the teachers, students, and parents of having a properly covered assembly hall finally come true.”

However, Fadli didn’t reveal the name or location of the school in the post.
