As efforts by all Malaysians have allowed the country to transition to Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), it is important for everyone not to rest their laurels – especially with Covid-19 still lingering in and around the country.

Realising that complacency may be the order of the day, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminded members of the public to obey Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in place set by the government as the pandemic is far from over and no vaccine has been developed just yet.

Though he touted that Malaysia is close to a situation described as “nearly as normal”, he added that SOPs in place should be practised until the Health Minister announces otherwise.

Speaking at a “Get-Together With The Leader” event at Bukit Gambir, Tan Sri Muhyiddin share his gratitude towards Malaysia’s frontliners for their work in the fight against the pandemic, and Malaysians for practising self-discipline during the outbreak.

“That is why today the world recognises what we have done as a country determined to control the Covid-19 outbreak.”

Let’s continue our good work Malaysians. It is now up to us.
