Following this morning’s LRT disruption at the Subang Alam station, it has been revealed that the disruption was caused by a man allegedly attempting to self-harm.
Rapid KL took to its Facebook page to share a press release in regards to this incident.


They wrote, “Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail), as the operator of Rapid KL, would like to inform that the Kelana Jaya Line service has resumed normal operations at 10:22am after experiencing a temporary disruption early this morning (Friday, July 4).”
“The service disruption occurred following an incident of trespassing reported to have occurred at 8:02am this morning involving a passenger who trespassed onto the track area at Subang Alam Station. Based on initial information, the individual is suspected of attempting to injure himself by jumping onto the track area as a train was approaching the platform.”
The authorities were called in to save the man

Officers from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) were deployed to the scene upon receiving a report from the Rapid Rail operations team.
“The victim was successfully rescued, but suffered serious injuries and was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahmah Hospital in Klang for further treatment. The police are conducting a detailed investigation into this incident, and Rapid Rail will provide full cooperation to assist in the investigation,” they added.
