M’sians Enraged by Proton X50 Driver Who Casually Drove Away After Hitting Elderly OKU Man in PJ

A Proton X50 driver was caught on closed-circuit television (CCTV) committing a hit and run against an elderly man, who is believed to be differently-abled (OKU), in Kampung Cempaka, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The #UpdateInfo X page shared the CCTV footage, which shows the X50 driver hitting the elderly man on his motorcycle from behind, causing him to fall onto the road, before quickly driving off.

They wrote, “New facelift X50 (commits) hit and run against an elderly OKU man at Kampung Cempaka, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.”

Thankfully, the video also showed passersby assisting the elderly man after the X50 driver had fled the scene.

 

“Where’s their sense of responsibility?” 

Netizens have since condemned the driver for their actions and are hoping that they are caught by the police as soon as possible.
