A food festival organiser is currently being called out online after they included an image of the late Zara Qairina in the promotional material for their event.

Taking to their Facebook page, the organiser of FOOD MANIA by Letops Fest 2025 shared a poster for their food festival that took place in Dungun, Terengganu, over the past week. The poster included an image of the late Zara Qairina as well as the hashtag #JusticeForZaraQairina.

They wrote, “Don’t miss the most fun party in Terengganu. A great combination of delicious food, great activities and great entertainment. It’s free entry! You can even bring your whole village! Don’t forget to invite your friends, family and neighbours!”

Many felt that the organiser was taking advantage of the late Zara Qairina’s image to promote and attract people to their food festival.

“Stupid, no common sense, using a picture of the deceased to pull in crowds.”

“Are you stupid or what, to be riding on someone’s child who has passed away. You must be so nervous (that no one will come) that you have to use someone’s child who has passed away to make people come.”
