As technology advances, most of our everyday living and processes should also be upgraded to take advantage of developing technology.
Recently, a public primary school in Pasir Gudang, Johor went viral for installing 10 smart TVs into its classrooms.
In a Facebook post, Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Bukit Dahlia expressed their gratitude to the parents and community members who sponsored to buy the smart TVs for the school.
“Thank you to the parents and community members who sponsored to help the school turn the 1 Class 1 SmartTV Programme into reality.”
“The installation process for the 10 classes will be completed in stages. Thank you also to the male teachers who are involved in the Smart TV installation process in the classes,” they added.
They concluded the post by hoping that the smart TVs would benefit the children of the school.
Malaysians praised the smart initiative
The school’s post went viral on Twitter where users were quick to congratulate the school and the parents for their creative approach.
“Amazing efforts by the parents. Smart TVs are so much better to have instead of projectors,” commented one user.
A couple of users wished that they could have the same in their classrooms whilst some teachers hoped that they could do the same for their students.
Meanwhile, a couple of users made jokes about how the teachers we had in our time would probably not be able to get used to this change.
Do you think that it’s a good initiative?
