Recently, a video of a PDRM car making a sharp, sudden u-turn has surfaced on the Internet and caused a lot of buzz.

In the video, which is a dashcam recording from the opposing lane, we see a police car that was on the left lane, suddenly making a turn.

The Myvi that was in the right lane was going straight and since the police car’s action was sudden, they were unable to stop in time and this resulted in an accident.

Later on in the video, we can see that the driver’s side of the police car looks a little squished and sunken in due to the impact.

A statement was issued by the Petaling Jaya District police chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid who says that the incident occurred in the afternoon of 28 February.

The police car was doing a crime watch patrol when they made the sharp u-turn.

Investigation papers have been opened and a summon was issued to the officer who was driving the police car.

They ended the statement by asking everyone to drive while following the law so that no accidents will occur.

Police Car U Turn 2

Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid also urged members of the public to report to the authorities if they spot any wrongdoings, even if it is a PDRM vehicle.

Well, the police car was definitely in the wrong here. We hope that the officer has learnt a valuable lesson.
