It looks like we won’t be finding out which parties get to form the government today, as well as the next person to take up the mantle of the 10th  Prime Minister. The National Palace has just announced that the deadline to submit the candidates for PM has been extended to tomorrow (November 22) at 2pm.

Just a moment ago, Perikatan Nasional released an official statement and revealed that the party has submitted a total over 112 Statutory Declarations (SDs) to the Yang Dipertuan Agong.

Secretary-General Hamzah Zainudin also said more than 112 members of parliament have pledged to support the coalition’s chairman, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to be the country’s 10th PM.

In the meantime, the president of PAS, Abdul Hadi Awang also updated his social media and revealed that “they have enough and they have submitted while waiting for an invitation“.

Earlier today, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) also reiterated its support for Muhyiddin to become the next PM. Last night, Muhyiddin said that he has secured enough seats and support needed to form a federal government, as he is confident that he will be appointed as the country’s 10th PM.

The waiting game continues, so stay tuned for more updates!
