PMX Announces 1-Month Free Toll for Newly-Opened EKVE Highway Starting 30 August

The East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE) was officially opened today (August 29), and Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has a surprise for road users.

It’s toll-free passage for those using the EKVE for 1 month, starting at 6 AM tomorrow (August 30), and will remain in effect until 11:59 PM on September 30.

Prime Minister announces 1-month free toll for newly-opened EKVE highway users

Anwar announced the matter during his speech at the official opening ceremony of the EKVE Section 1. Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi were also present at the event, reported Kosmo!.

The East Klang Valley Expressway starts from Sg Long at SILK Highway (in the south) and terminates at Ukay Perdana (in the north), as per the information extracted from its official website. EKVE spans a mainline distance of 24.16 kilometres between Bandar Sungai Long and Ukay Perdana, with an additional 12 kilometres of spur roads.
