Well, here’s more good amazing news!

Just hours ago, Malaysians waited in anticipation as Malaysia did an outstanding job during the SEA games (that only means, a possible national holiday!).

We bagged a total of 323 medals, among which are 145 golds, making us the top country in the SEA games! Bravo to our fellow athletes!

During the closing ceremony of the 29th SEA games, our beloved Prime Minister Najib Razak proudly announced that September 4 will be a public holiday to commemorate the country’s success in the SEA games.

According to Malaysiakini, he said,

“Tonight, in appreciation of the sacrifices by our national athletes and all quarters in raising the country’s image and spurring national excellence, as well as the unparallel support from all Malaysians in the 29th SEA Games Kuala Lumpur 2017, I am pleased to announce that Sept 4 will be a nationwide public holiday.”
