Students, teachers and staff of SK Desa Tasik in Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kuala Lumpur had one of the surprises of their lives yesterday after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim made an unplanned visit to the school.
Taking to his official social media accounts, Anwar shared several photos and a video of the visit, saying that he managed to squeeze some time after a programme in Sungai Besi to visit the school.
#MalaysiaMADANI ♬ original sound – Anwar Ibrahim
During the visit, the Prime Minister spent time with the lucky primary school students there who were super excited to meet him, as well as mingled and talked with the school’s teachers and staff.
Anwar also shared that he made a spot check on the school’s infrastructure and facilities, including checking on the status of its toilets which are currently being upgraded in stages.
He shared,
“It is my hope that the school community, especially students can enjoy the facilities in creating a comfortable and conducive environment.”
This is not the first time that Anwar had made a surprise spot check on a school too, as he had made surprise visits to several other schools throughout the country since becoming Prime Minister.
