The rescue work for the sinkhole victim in KL resumed at 9 am today (August 24), with the authorities doing their best to search for the Indian national.
Her family members were at the scene last night (August 23), hoping that she could be located. 26-year-old Surya asked the authorities to save her mum, Vijayaletchumi, who has been missing since last night.
Surya, who came from Thailand immediately after hearing the news, cried at the scene while his father tried to calm him down.
According to reports by Buletin TV3 and Malaysia Gazette, It was also revealed that Vijayaletchumi was supposed to return to India today after being here for 2 months.
She was here with her friends and husband on vacation purpose, and always used the same route (sinkhole area) to visit the nearby temple, as revealed by her friend.
