Recently, a road accident in Kuching, Sarawak caught the attention of netizens on social media because the aftermath of the incident left Malaysians perplexed.

In the viral post by Sarawak Viral on Facebook, the car, a black Naza Citra somehow got stuck on top of the road divider after hitting a lamp post at Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg in the Sarawak capital city. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident.

The caption of the post jokingly said that the car’s plate number would win the 4D lottery draw

The post was shared on the day of the accident on 12 June, with the caption jokingly saying that the plate number of the car, 8655, would be the winning 4D lottery number.

Of course, the caption was just poking fun at the stereotype of how some people view the plate number of vehicles that got involved in an accident as ‘lucky’ and use them as their lottery numbers.

The car plate number was ACTUALLY the 1st prize of a recent 4D lottery draw!

Well, in the funniest turn of events, the black Naza Citra’s plate number was ACTUALLY lucky, as it was the winning number of a 4D draw in Sarawak exactly 1 week after the accident.

In fact, the car’s plate number, 8655, is the 1st prize for the 4D Special Cash Sweep for the draw on Wednesday (19 June), something that Sarawak Viral pointed out in a follow-up post after realising the coincidence.
