Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal pointed out these alarming statistics while at the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort’s workers hostel yesterday (15 October).

“Please stay at home. If you really need to go out for emergency purposes, please wear a mask and go home as soon as you’re done. Please abide by the regulations of the CMCO,” added the District Police Chief in a statement recorded by Sin Chew Daily.

Clubhouse Overview

As of now, 507 residents in the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort’s dormitory have been tested for Covid-19, including 240 local employees. Yesterday, 26 people from the dormitory tested positive for the virus, and efforts to tighten security at the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) were made accordingly.

Until the number of cases in the area reaches a steady decline, all residents and neighbouring citizens are advised to stay at home and follow the SOPs.

Stay safe, guys!
