Recently, this netizen slammed a martial arts tournament in Penang for a subpar organisation and highlighted its opening ceremony which hired an emcee who used inappropriate language which was all caught on video.

During the opening ceremony, the emcee can be heard saying: “Can you all be quiet! Quiet! Zip your mouths. Please keep quiet while we wait for our VIPs to arrive.”

“This is better than sounding like a morning market.”

At this point, the netizen has had enough and shared this in her caption.

“We’ve waited from as early as 7.30am, and the ceremony had to continue at 2pm. The management is in shambles.”

“Participants were made to pay RM60 to RM80 each, with 2,000 participants in total. This is already the second leg, it has been this way since the beginning,” she wrote.

“Seriously, this is the worst organiser ever.”

Taking to the comments section, netizens had this to say.

“The emcee made it as if this was a school assembly.”

One user commented, “It is a martial arts tournament where kids pay to join in, isn’t this expected?”

“The VIPs are to be blamed for being late. The kids are just victimized at this point,” said another user.
