Penang Officers Join Forces to Push Stranded Car to the Roadside, Earning Praises from Netizens

Traffic police are responsible for maintaining the safe and effective use of road transportation. It warms our hearts whenever we hear about them taking extra steps to ensure everyone’s safety on the road!

In a recent update by the Facebook page IPD TIMUR LAUT, it was shared that 2 officers lent a helping hand after a car broke down in Georgetown, Penang.

2 officers join forces to safely remove the car

The post described how Officer Afiq from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPTD) was on duty near the Jalan Macallum section along Jalan Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu when he noticed a car that had broken down in the middle of the road.

Assisted by a Penang City Council (MBPP) Traffic Warden, Officer Afiq pushed the stranded car to the roadside, ensuring smooth traffic flow.

“Well done to all police officers who have shown admirable values.”

 

The selfless act of these two officers has garnered praise from netizens for their assistance.
