Chicken rice is undeniably one of the best local food but can you see yourself eating the same food for days? If you think it’s impossible to eat the same food for days, what if we tell you there’s a man in Penang who has been eating chicken rice at the same place for 3 months straight?
Just recently, a Malaysian named Sin Nee took to her Facebook to share her husband’s love for chicken rice. You would think eating the same food for 3 months shows his love for the meal, but that was not all.
Her husband, Klio, took the time to create a photo album just for his everyday lunch – chicken rice.
Klio joked and said, “They’re all memories now”.
The chicken rice comes with a pack of chili sauce and siu yok (roasted pork), and while that truly looks appetising, we’re not sure if we can feed ourselves chicken rice every day.
According to Sin Nee’s Facebook post, Klio finally decided to stop feeding himself chicken rice after 3 months, and this time, he’s going for Pan Mee instead. Is he going for Pan Mee for the next 3 months?
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Klio said that he rarely has lunch with his wife, who runs her own online clothing business.
“Once in a while, we cook dinner at home,” Klio added.
When asked about the location of the restaurant, Klio happily revealed the place where he always satisfies his craving for chicken rice.
“It’s in Bukit Mertajam, Sentosa, Penang.”
Is it goodbye?
As Klio has just started to change his appetite to Pan Mee, he admitted that he had plans to eat Pan Mee for lunch for the next 3 months. However, he told WORLD OF BUZZ that the plan lasted only a day.
“Pan Mee is delicious but it’s not satisfying enough for lunch. Chicken rice is so much better. So, I’ve gone back to eating chicken rice because Pan Mee is not worth it”, Klio said.
It’s like we can smell the chicken rice from Klio’s photo album! Fellow chicken rice lovers, can you see yourself eating the same thing every single day?
