Are men bound to cheat at some point in their married life? Of course, not everyone cheats in a relationship but some people do get creative when it comes to looking for an excuse to cheat. In this case, our local favorite chicken rice came into play.

Just recently, a Malaysian woman took to social media to share the details of her cheating husband, who has been together with a Thai woman for about a year now. She started to notice the signs of cheating as early as January 2022, not long before the man started to ignore matters at home.

“He was on his phone a lot when he was home, and didn’t even ask about our children,” the woman said.

When confronted, the man admitted to the betrayal, saying that he got together with the Thai woman because she can cook, and can help him to run his restaurant. Not only that but one of their arguments also “caused” the man to stay on with the Thai woman.

“You told me not to come back last time when we argued,” the man said.

The woman also said that she has given chances and time for the man to stop the drama, but history found itself repeating again.

Fast forward to December 2022, the man told her that he was headed to KL to learn how to prepare chicken rice. The woman, however, knew that it was just a lie, especially after her husband couldn’t tell her where exactly in KL.

“I’m not sure, they have many outlets of chicken rice shops in KL. The employer will drive me there,” he told his wife.

After celebrating their son’s birthday on 28th December last year, the man “left for KL” the next day. She tried to contact her husband but his phone was unreachable, and that was how she knew, he had traveled to Thailand again.

The man, however, defended himself and insisted that he was indeed in KL to “learn to cook chicken rice”.

On January 1 this year, the man shared an intimate photo of him with the Thai woman during their anniversary.

In her Facebook post, which was shared by China Press, the woman told her husband to let her family go if he’s not emotionally invested in them anymore.

“If you can’t let her go and if you really love her, don’t come back home. I told you, I can’t accept sharing a husband.”

It’s heartbreaking to see how many marriages can’t seem to last long when a change of heart happens. The one who gets cheated on is not the only victim, but also the innocent children who may have to grow up without a parent being active in their daily lives.
