An elderly man was shot while at a restaurant at Jalan Aminuddin Baki, Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
According to Harian Metro, Brickfields District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Annuar Omar shared that they received a report from the victim regarding the incident.
“The incident happened around 12:30pm in the afternoon, while the victim was cleaning the kitchen of the restaurant. He felt pains around his armpit and found traces of a wound around that part of his body before spotting a metal grain that looked like a bullet near his feet,” he said.
The elderly man then headed to a private clinic for treatment.
“This case is currently being investigated under Section 37 of the Firearms Act 1960 and Section 307 of the Penal Code.”
