The police are currently in the process of tracking down the driver of a white BMW, after the driver was shown suddenly braking and deliberately stopping to disturb road users at KM 10 of the Federal Highway, from Kuala Lumpur to Klang.
According to a report by Harian Metro, Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim shared that a video of the incident was uploaded to Facebook. The Inforoadblock Facebook page shared the video.

“The incident occurred when a BMW driver with registration number JSY 998 acted by braking abruptly several times on purpose, and stopped in the left lane thus disturbing other road users,”
“So far no arrests have been made, but with the help of the Johor police, we have managed to trace the address of the car owner in south Johor Bahru,” he said.
He went on to share that the investigation found that the original owner of the vehicle had made a report denying that he was driving the car and informed that he has sold the car in December of last year to a used car agent.

“Police have also obtained proof that the car was sold and a used car agent has also been traced,”
“Based on the information available so far, the agent was found to have sold the vehicle to a car rental company. Tomorrow, the used car agent will be present at the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPT) of the Shah Alam District Police Headquarters (IPD) to provide evidence and purchase documents,” he added.
Witnesses or members of the public with information on this are asked to step forward to assist with the investigation. If you have any information on this, you can contact the investigating officer of BSPT IPD Shah Alam, Inspector Mohd Zulkifli Razak at 019-4475767.
This case is now being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
