PDRM is Looking for Proton Wira Driver Whose Car Was Hit by Police Bus Making Illegal U-Turn in Gombak

An ironic incident took place at Taman Greenwood in Jalan Batu Caves, Selangor recently after a bus belonging to the Kuala Lumpur Police was spotted making an illegal U-turn at an intersection.

Worse, the heavy vehicle failed to make the U-turn on the first try and had to dangerously reverse while at the intersection, causing it to hit a white Proton Wira.

Dashcam footage of the incident has since gone viral on social media, first shared by the MDHViralChannel on YouTube and then reposted on other platforms.

Most notably, it was uploaded by TikTok user @deafebianschannel1 to the platform in a post that has garnered over 544,500 views.

In fact, one of the views was from the Gombak District Police which has since launched an investigation on the incident.

In a statement by the acting Gombak District Police Chief Superintendent Noor Ariffin bin Mohamad Nasir, the incident took place on 6 December 2023 at around 2.30pm at Jalan Batu Caves near Shell Greenwood.

The case is currently being investigated under R112 LN170/59, with police urging the public who witnessed the incident and the owner of the TikTok account to step forward to assist in the investigation.

Furthermore, the driver of the white Proton Wira that was hit by the Kuala Lumpur Police bus is also urged to step forward and assist in investigations.
