PDRM is Currently Hunting 2 Mat Rempits Doing ‘Wheelies’ & Riding Dangerously in Kuala Selangor

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is currently on the lookout for two motorcyclists that were riding recklessly and doing dangerous stunts on the road.

This is following a viral video which showed both motorcyclists doing ‘wheelies’, including performing the dangerous stunt while standing with one leg on top of the motorcycle.

In a statement by the Kuala Selangor District Police Chief Ramli bin Kasa, the police became aware of the 23-second video which showed the motorcyclists performing the dangerous stunts on a public road on 6 April 2023.

The video is believed to have been recorded in Kuala Selangor and accordingly, the Kuala Selangor District Police has opened an investigation paper under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.

The statement urges all parties that have information regarding the incident to channel info to the authorities or directly call the investigating officer Insp Najmi at 017-8028105.

The video of the dangerous stunts was shared by the Facebook page Inforoadblock and is believed to have originally been posted in TikTok.
