PDRM Hunting for Man Caught on CCTV Using Plastic Bag in Alleged Attempt to Abduct Woman in Selangor

The police are looking for a victim who’s believed to have almost been kidnapped in Bandar Saujana Putra, as shown in a recent viral video.

A CCTV footage shared via Mynewshub shows a woman having a terrifying experience when an unknown man allegedly tried to suffocate her.

He tried to cover the woman’s face with a plastic bag

On January 23, the CCTV footage captured the man following her from behind in a shop lot area, attempting to cover her face with a plastic bag.

The video shows that the incident was believed to have taken place around 4:37 AM, when the woman was walking alone. When she turned around, the suspect quickly fled the scene.

The hunt for the suspect is currently underway

Harian Metro also reported how the victim later requested the CCTV footage from one of the premises in the area for further action.

Meanwhile, the Kuala Langat District Police Chief, Superintendent Akmalrizal Radzi, mentioned that they have not received any reports about the incident yet.

“The police are still working on locating the involved victim for further investigation,” he said.
