Police confirmed that the suspect isn’t an outsider

In a recent update by Sin Chew Daily, police investigations revealed that the suspect is the deceased woman’s 17-year-old son, who is believed to have planned to kill his mother but was interrupted by his older brother during the act.

This led to the tragic deaths of both the mother and eldest son, while the youngest brother was injured after he refused to leave the house during the attack.

Malacca Police Chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar confirmed that the case was not the result of an outsider breaking in, but rather a case of matricide stemming from a family dispute.

WORLD OF BUZZ reported earlier that the suspect discovered the bodies and the injured brother after spending the night elsewhere.

He held a grudge over frequent scoldings from his mother

The suspect was reportedly holding a long-standing grudge and was unhappy about being frequently scolded by his mother, especially as he was preparing for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exam.

According to Dzulkhair, the murders are believed to have taken place around 5 AM. Both victims were stabbed multiple times, with wounds found on their necks, backs, and waists.

The murder weapon, a 20cm folding knife, was later found hidden in the suspect’s schoolbag.

Police also confirmed that the suspect was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.
